Whatsapp Increased Video and Voice Calling Now it supports 8 user in beta version of Android and IOS

Due to increase in demand of video conferencing app the whatsapp have increased there video calling limit to 8 users before that only 4 people can but now in beta version 8 people can do video or voice conferencing with family or friends.

The new beta version of the application on both Android and iOS comes with the ‘increased‘ group call limit, according to a WEBetaInfo report.

According to the report, the users of the application will have to update their WhatsApp in order to use the new feature. If one can not see the new feature, the user can try to back up the chat and reinstall the application. Reinstallation of WhatsApp will provide the most updated features to the users.


To place a group call on WhatsApp, you need to open the group and click on the call button on the top right. If the group has more than eight participants, WhatsApp will ask which contacts you wish to call, otherwise the call will be directly started. Group participants that aren’t saved in your address book won’t be added in the call.

 WhatsApp is enabling this feature for beta users on both the platforms, and it indicates that the feature should roll out soon on the stable version as well.
