Guide To Create Anti Links System For a Discord Bot – If you do not want your server to mess up then you will be needing Anti Links System in your bot and for that purpose i created this post to make you guys understand how this thing works, You can even take idea and create your anti link system in your way. The way i will be using is very simple and easy to setup.
I will be using function to check if string is link or not. if string got true statement then we will delete the message and send the warn message.
function is_url(str) { let regexp = /^(?:(?:https?|ftp)://)?(?:(?!(?:10|127)(?:\.\d{1,3}){3})(?!(?:169\.254|192\.168)(?:\.\d{1,3}){2})(?!172\.(?:1[6-9]|2\d|3[0-1])(?:\.\d{1,3}){2})(?:[1-9]\d?|1\d\d|2[01]\d|22[0-3])(?:\.(?:1?\d{1,2}|2[0-4]\d|25[0-5])){2}(?:\.(?:[1-9]\d?|1\d\d|2[0-4]\d|25[0-4]))|(?:(?:[a-z¡-￿0-9]-*)*[a-z¡-￿0-9]+)(?:\.(?:[a-z¡-￿0-9]-*)*[a-z¡-￿0-9]+)*(?:\.(?:[a-z¡-￿]{2,})))(?::\d{2,5})?(?:/\S*)?$/; if(regexp.test(str)) { return true; } else { return false; } }
Now go to message event and check if message content is url or not
if(is_url(message.content) === true) { }
And now delete the author message and send warn message.
if(is_url(message.content) === true) { message.delete() return message.channel.send("You can not send link here :/") }
